The Annual CW Gala Fundraiser
The evening includes:

Drinks and standing food service included in the ticket price

Doors open at 5:30 pm

Food service at 6 pm

All attendees present that evening are eligible to win a 1-week trip for two, including business-class airfare, to London, England (hotel included), as well as a pair of tickets to two rugby matches.

The first-ever presentation of the Brent Johnston Award!

The Live Auction includes a trip for 10 to a luxury villa in France, an in-home chef, a fishing adventure in Haida Gwaii and a custom suit from Straith’s Fine Clothing

The Silent auction includes Prince of Wales - Watching, Butchart Gardens Extravaganza, and AdrenaLINE Zipline Adventure Tours

100% of the proceeds go to CW initiatives!

Tickets are $275 per person. Groups of 10 tickets are $2,500.

Why does CW hold the fundraiser dinner?
As a single event, this is CW’s most important source of funds.
Without the dinner, dues for our 500+ player members would increase by more than 100%. We believe keeping dues reasonable helps keep the game broadly accessible.
The Gala provides a unique opportunity for community connections to be forged and rekindled—bringing together members, supporters, alumni, and friends in a way that few other Castaway Wanderers events can.
